The 60th International Debutante Ball was held on December 29, 2014, at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City. Twenty-six Norwich cadets—the largest contingent ever in attendance—served as the official Color Guard and as military escorts for 46 young women from across the United States and eight foreign countries. This is the 22nd year that cadets from Norwich University have participated in the gala, a benefit that supports the Soldiers’, Sailors’, Marines’, Coast Guard, and Airmen’s Club in New York City.

Accompanying the group was former Norwich Director of External Affairs Ed Tracy, who remarked, “As always, the cadets did an extraordinary job from beginning to end, helping to make the 60th Anniversary very special for everyone involved. I was personally very impressed with the Color Guard and the final presentation of flags, which was a sea of Norwich blue.” The event was covered by CBS, ABC’s Nightline, The Wall Street Journal, the UK Daily Mail, and The New York Times.
