PEACE AND WAR CENTER TURNS ONE

Norwich University established the Peace and War Center in June 2015 with Professor Travis Morris as its inaugural director.

In its first 12 months of operation, the center produced a podcast series on leadership, sent two students to the Foreign Policy Association’s World Leadership Forum in New York City, and two others to the international Policing and Security Conference at Rabdan Academy in Abu Dhabi. In addition, it arranged for a special student session during the Fall Todd Lecture Series with former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, presented a film screening and radio broadcast panel discussion on China/U.S. relationships, brought a Canadian Fulbright scholar to campus, and organized a NATO advanced-training course in Macedonia.
